KEEPING IT CLEAN

A 3-STAGE DETOX AND FASTING PLAN, DESIGNED TO REDUCE TOXICITY IN THE BODY TO IMPROVE WELLBEING.

The eating regime is built around plant-based wholefoods, teas and juices. Each stage will have a differing effect on the body, so be sure to select a stage that best meets your current level of health. We recommend starting at stage 1 and building your way up, alternating fasts for 7, 14 or 28 days.

STAGE 1 – INCREASE RAW PLANT BASED WHOLEFOODS

Perfect for beginners. Start by increasing the amount of raw plant based wholefoods in your diet and eliminating or reducing the amount of processed foods. We recommend that you start raw juicing.  At level 1 you are not trying to restrict calories, just maintain a healthier eating plan to reduce toxicity.

If you have had a toxic lifestyle, you should complete a full 28-day cleanse of the Raw Essentials Detox teas (AM and PM), morning and evening. You may find that you start to eat less food as the body begins to receive the full nutrition it needs.

When starting, consider 100% raw and/or uncooked days with cooked food days, and then continue to skip cooked food days until you maintain a complete diet of raw fruit and vegetables for a minimum of 1 week. This is a great preparation for Level 2, if you desire.

STAGE 2 – TEA, JUICE AND SALADS

At this stage, you have already eliminated low nutritional sources like processed foods for foods containing higher nutritional density (raw fruits and vegetables). You have a juicer or blender and create fresh wholefood mixed fruit and herb juices and eat light raw foods as you have been practicing healthier eating for a considerable amount of time now. In this detox, you are moving to a stricter eating regime of plant-based wholefoods, but still not trying to restrict calories. As an overall rule, only eat when you’re hungry rather than at set times.

We don’t recommended extending back-to-back stage 2 eating plans beyond 28 days without seeking advice from a health professional.

STAGE 3 – TEA, JUICE AND SALADS

This stage builds on stage 2 and should only be considered if you have experience with fasting and are aware of the effects fasting can have on the body. You will modify your eating further by restricting calories for a short period of time by consuming only tea, water and a moderate amount of raw fruit juices. If you are new to fasting, it’s important during this time not to place added stresses on the body, such as intense exercise until you begin to see how your body responds to the fast.
