PURE DIET MEANS PURE FRIDGE – NO EXCUSES!
I’ve said it before and I will say it again – BE PREPARED!
Being prepared is the most important thing to ensure that your detoxes is successful and especially when we want to make a lasting lifestyle change.
Last week I told you guys about my trip to Prahran market – read all about it here if you missed it.
This week I want to tell you about the brutal kitchen clean-out that followed after. I removed all temptation from my cupboards.
The diet I am following over the course of this month is very pure; organic vegetables and grass-fed meats only. No coffee, no alcohol, no gluten, no wheat, no sugar, no fructose, no grains, no nuts, no dairy! It’s the best way to have your body working at an optimal level.
I had to get super real about what ingredients contained added sugar. Realistically, 70% or more of everything from the supermarket has unnecessary added sugar.
Everything went in the bin! This is what remained!
It is now week two of my detox and I feel incredible!
